You're Beautiful. Period.

Then don't ever doubt your beauty again.

Easier said then done, I'll be the first to admit that.
However...
God created you to be exactly YOU. Not a single other soul on this planet.

Now Showing- Peanutly!

My mid-section is getting bigger, and the number on the scale remains pretty much the same? This has had me very much confused! So this morning I decided to do some research. Turns out, many women going through their second pregnancy, notice that their bodies change a lot faster!

" Once a woman’s body has experienced pregnancy and childbirth, her body remembers what is required and therefore makes the changes more rapidly. The muscles may not be as taut as they were the first time, and many women find themselves wearing maternity clothing long before they reach their second trimester. 1

I had to run errands fairly early this morning, and my jeans (granted they were fresh out of the dryer... always tighter) fit SO snug! I had to use the old rubber band trick just so I could wear them. But before getting dressed... my weight was really pretty much the same! Then it hit me- One of my errands this morning was the mail room, and my belly band (or Tummy Sleeve)  had arrived. I got home and replaced the rubber band for my new belly band, and it was then that I realized, I really seem to be showing quite a bit earlier! In a lot of what I read, a common statement is that women can tend to show about a month to a month and a half earlier compared to their first pregnancy.

I can't wait for Thursday, when we get to see Peanutly for the first time! I also can't wait to ask my doctor to see if all of what I read is legit!

Update!

So, I'm still pregnant. And this month still seems a bit hectic. But not quite so overwhelming now.

On the pregnancy front- I am 9 weeks and 1 day today. Even though I found out extremely early (right around 2 weeks and 5 days) it seems to be going by way too fast. I think because I somehow have this feeling that this is my last time being pregnant. Ever since we got married, my husband and I have always been on the same page that two would be plenty. He grew up in a good size family (1 of 5 siblings) and didn't really want that for our family (nor could I for-see being pregnant that many times!) Any way, I just can't believe how fast its going by! I'm enjoying every minute of it too. Pretty easy to do when I don't have any of the negative symptoms! Morning sickness still has not arrived, no headaches, fatigue hasn't been too bad. The only thing thats kind of been a pain, is my finicky appetite. Makes for very difficult meal planning. Also I've been craving a lot of oranges!! Man oh man! That has been my biggest crutch. So yummy. Some say, that if you crave citrus, sour, or salty, you're having a boy... fingers crossed!!

My husband had his promotion board the beginning of this week. Something about this month felt right. He felt more prepared, confident, and calm. And when getting ready, he was able to get his tie squared away on the first try, for him, that was a good sign! His good feelings about the promotion board were correct, he got a "GO" from every single board member! So when he came home, we celebrated the best we could (considering he was on the night shift, and had been up all night before the board at 0630)-

^Popping the cork!^
AIM

^There it goes!^
FIRE

^A perfect sized bottle of a ritzy French champagne to celebrate his accomplishments!^
ENJOY

We also went and grabbed Chilis TOGO after he woke up, and enjoyed that as a special treat to further celebrate. Pretty low key, but really special for our little family.

One thing in this busy month checked off! And what a good outcome at that! Now if the rest of this month's to-do's can bring the same positive results! Weee!
